Mail Art Project

Mad COVID was a shared space for grassroots mental health survivor / service user projects that started during the COVID19 pandemic. This website is being maintained for historical purposes – please note that none of its projects are currently active.

The artists involved use a variety of materials and methods to create their art, including; photography, illustration, collage, textiles and sculpture. Whilst the group wanted each artist to be able to express themselves in whatever medium they are comfortable working with, they also liked the idea of working collaboratively on one artwork or object, that could hold all of their experiences together.
